In 1870 she was living in Almena with her parents, George and Martha (Harris) Howland, her older brothers, Charles and Ellsworth, and her sister, Elizabeth. In 1880 she was living in Almena with her parents. Lottie and her brother, Ellsworth "Lell", married brother (Albert Oliver) and sister (Laura Anne Oliver). In 1910, Albert and Lottie were living in Gun Plain, Michigan. With them were four of their children, a daughter-in-law, and a granddaughter.
