His will, dated 5 Dec. 1788, proved 12 Nov. 1790, named wife Mary and the four sons and three daughters [David, Richard, Nathan, Thomas, Mary, Jemima, and Phebe], witnesses, Josiah Hale, Anne Hale, and Mercy Hale.” [2]
