    Notes
    • Julia was born in Alleghany Township of Potter County, Pennsylvania on 06 Aug 1846. She married Isaac F. Dodge 28 Feb 1863, most likely in Saginaw city, as their first child Winslow was born there in 1867. Isaac was born in June, 1844 in Cayuga County of New York State. The marriage location is not known, but most likely in Saginaw city of Saginaw County, Michigan. Isaac served in the Civil War from 1861 to 1863 as a Private in Company F of the 16th Michigan Infantry. They removed to the Village of Lowell, Kent County, Michigan by 1870, where Isaac is a lumber dealer in concert with his father Winslow Dodge and family. Isaac and Julia have two known children: Winslow J. Dodge, June 1867 in Saginaw; and Nellie B. Dodge, March, 1869, in Lowell village of Kent County.
Winslow was born in New York State in 1815, his wife Harriet there also in 1812. They had six children with four born in New York and the last two born in Michigan. The 1850 and 1860 Federal census records show Winslow and family residing in Woodstock Township of Lenawee County, Michigan. After their time in Lowell, Winslow, Harriet and Albert move to Hardy Township of Livingston County, Michigan where they are recorded in the 1880 census.
By 1880, Isaac and Julia have moved to the village of Gowen, Montcalm Township, Montcalm County, Michigan, where Isaac is now a merchant, and owns a dry goods store. Julia's younger sister Frances Eldora Quick is employed there as a clerk and is living with the Dodges. Living two houses from Isaac and one house from Frances is Aris R. Haskins [Horace or Hirace on census form], wife Eunice A., sister of both Julia and Frances, with three of their children: Nellie May Haskins, Frances M. Haskins, and Winslow R. Haskins Five houses in the other direction, in a boarding house, is Frances Quick's future husband Charles H. Hall.
In 1900, Isaac and Julia are in Montcalm Township (probably Gowen); where Isaac is an agent for a canvas shop or factory. On 04 Jan 1886, Nellie B. Dodge marries Lester Lafayette Sweet in the city of Ionia in Ionia County. They have a child Clifford Sweet, b. 27 September 1887 in Montcalm Township of Montcalm County. In 1900, Nellie is a widow and she and Clifford are back living with Isaac and Julia. On 11 Jan 1910, Julia Dodge passes away in Fremont, Newaygo County. Isaac is now living alone in the village of Fremont in Dayton Township of Newaygo County, Michigan, where he is listed as a widower and a produce buyer. On 01 Oct 1911, Isaac marries Mary E. Risker in Newaygo town in Newaygo County. In1920, Isaac is living in Montague Township of Muskegon County with Mary. Isaac passes on 1 Feb 1922 at Montague in Muskegon County and is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Montague
