      1925 Marriage
      Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Marie Della Gallant, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Gallant, 330 S. McDonel street, and Stuart Rittenhouse Harding, Chicago, Ill. the ceremony was quietly performed Saturday evening at 6 o’clock at the home of the bride’s parents, by Rev. Robert Hughes, Bucyrus, superintendent of the Ohio State Baptist convention.
      Miss Helen gallant and Frank Gallant, sister and brother of the bride, were the attendants. Miss Margaret Dunbar played the Mendelssohn Weeding March.
      The bride was lovely in white canton crepe, while her tulle veil was made cap effect, and banded with valley lilies and orange blossoms. She carried a shower of bride’s roses tied with satin streamers. Miss Gallant wore an afternoon frock of powder blue canton crepe, and a hair bandeau of silver, and carried an armful of pink roses.
      Places were marked for twenty guests at the wedding supper following the ceremony. A mound of white lilies centered the table, while all of the appointments were in white. Baskets of gladioli and lilies were combined in floral decorations in the various rooms.
      Out-of-town guests were Mrs. Marie Neff, Miss Ethel Neff, Chicago’ and Mr. and Mrs. R.D. Snare and family, Ada.
      Mr. and Mrs. Harding will be at hoe after September 6 at 206 Loust street, Chicago, where Mr. Harding is a student at the Moody Bible Institute.

      The Rev. And Mrs. Stuart R. Harding had as their dinner guests Tuesday noon at the Springdale Baptist parsonage: The Rev. And Mrs. Thomas Lasley, of Jamestown; Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Jones of Mansfield; Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Gallant of Lima; Miss Anabel Snare of Ada; and the Rev. Robert Hughes of Kenton. All attended the ordination of the Rev. Mr. Harding as pastor of the Springdale Church.

      1950 Visit to Ohio
      HARDINGS VISIT LOWES
      Rev. And Mrs. Stuart R. Harding, of Kershaw, S.C., were overnight guests Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. Dana Lowe and family, of Leesburg Township. Rev. Harding, pastor of the Second Baptists Church of Kershaw, is on his way to attend the Baptist World Alliance in Cleveland next week. Mrs. Harding is expecting to spend several weeks’ vacation with her mother, Mrs. J.C. Galllant, of Lima. Rev. Harding is a former pastor of Springdale Baptist Church.

      1953 Pastorate Anniversary
      Eighth Year For Pastor
      KERSHAW, S.C. Sept. 5 — Sunday, Sept. 6, marks the beginning of the eighth year at the Kershaw Second Baptist Church for the Rev. Stuart R. Harding. The church extended a call to him on Sept. 1, 1946, which he accepted. He came here following tour of duty as chaplain in the U.S. Army at Fort Jackson.

      1972 Obituary
      STEWART HARDING
      Services for former Van Wert area resident, Rev. Stuart Harding, 71, of Columbia, S.C., were to be at 10 a.m. today in Dunbar Funeral Home, Columbia. Burial was to follow in Kershaw, S.C., Cemetery.
      Rev. Harding died Tuesday in the Veterans Hospital, Gallant; a daughter, Jean Harding, at home; a son, Charles Byron of Largo, Fla.; three grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Carey Snare of Ada.
      Rev. Harding was pastor of the Van Wert Baptist church previous to moving to South Carolina.
