      Nickolaus Schirado, born 1895, was buried 1906 in the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Saint Louis. He was probably one of the two children, either Michael or Johann, who came with Mathias from Banat.

      Antel Schirado left Fiume on 16 February 1907 on the Pannonia and arrived on 8 March in Baltimore, Maryland. Antel was 17, single, worked as a joiner, could read and write, lived in N. Becskerek, Hungary and was an ethnic German. He paid for his own ticket and came with only $10 in his pocket. Antel was 5’7”, had a reddish complexion, fair hair and gray eyes. He was going to his uncle Matya Schirato, at 124 Lesperancea, St. Louis, Misouri.

      Mathias died of Bright’s Disease and chronic myocaditis on 19 January 1928. He was a white married male and his wife was Clara Schirado. He was age 59 years four months and four days old when he died and was born on 15 September 1868. His wife is listed as Clarz Schirado. Mathias and Clara lived at 2710 S. 11th Street. He worked as a laborer. He was buried at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery on January 21. His father was Matt Schirado and his mother Rosa DeKold. Both were born in Yugoslavia. Mathias was born in (Tengasu/ Zengasnv/ Zeugasu/ - writing is open to interpretation.
