Barney Shears a well known Nunica resident died last week of Cancer at Hackley Hospital, Muskegon and was buried at Nunica, Friday morning. Mr. Shears returned from Lloydminster in the Canadian Northwest only about a week ago, suffering from Cancer. He had taken up a homestead in Canada and was doing well there when the Cancer developed. About a year ago he returned for treatment and believing that he had secured permanent relief he went back west. Mr. Shears was very well know in Grand Haven. |
