Register 2; State Office No. 23 4407. 1938 Obituary FORMER SCHOOL TEACHER SUCCUMBS AT 76 IN OLIVET OLIVET —Mrs. May Matthews, 76, died Monday afternoon in the home of a niece, Mrs. Frank Herrick, in Olivet. Mrs. Matthews had spent her entire life in Olivet. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Own Pinch and was born here. She taught for several years in schools in this vicinity. For the last several years she had been dividing her time among several nieces and nephews are. There are no other survivors. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday from the Olivet Congregational church. The Rev. MG. Inghram will be in charge. Burial will be in Olivet cemetery.
