  [S201] Obituary, Cadillac News, 21 November 2012. Robert S. “Bob” Eising LAKE CITY — Robert S. “Bob” Eising, of Lake City, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac. He was 72. He was born May 26, 1940, to John and Mary (VanHaitsma) Eising in Falmouth. He married the former Patsy Sherman on December 3, 1960, in Manton. She preceded him in death on July 27, 1996. Mr. Eising worked as a mason for more than 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and mushrooming. He is survived by his children, Jim (Martha) Eising of Hastings, Laurie Shaw of Lake City, Mike (Michele) Eising of Atlanta, Joe (Jamie) Eising of Lake City; one sister, Lois (Jerry) Chalker of Grand Rapids; sisters-in-law, Shirley Eising and Marty Eising; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Doug (Sandy) Mann, Chuck (Karen) Sherman, Dan Hill; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Don, Vern and Merlin. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012, at the Young Funeral Home with burial in the Lake City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
