"Died after living in Alamo Nursing Home (by Hillside Jr. High now Hillside Middle School). Died two years after Donald Wood and I (Brenda) married, and I saw Budd go faithfully every week to visit and take her things right up to the time she died. Don said he remembers that as a child every time his Dad would visit he'd take one of them (7 children) over to her Kalamazoo house, not far from their home on Vine St. and while Budd did things around the house for her they'd hide outside "cause she was a mean old lady who always yelled, "children should be seen and not heard"
