- In 1686 James bought from John Whattanor 1 1/4 acres. He also bought 10 1/2 acres from M. Athy et al. in 1693.
His estate was administered by his widow 8 May 1704. Inventory included a house and 1 1/4 acres, also 10 1/2 acres of Blind Island swamp in Charlestown. The estate was divided among his children James, John, Isaac, Hannah, Samuel, and Mary.
